How to cook Creamer Potatoes: Part II

How to cook Creamer Potatoes: Part II

In last week’s blog post, I posted information about how to cook Creamer Potatoes via a traditional stovetop boiling method. This week, I’m talking roasting and grilling.

There is something so special about roasting and grilling Creamer Potatoes. These methods crisp up the outsides while keeping the insides unbelievably soft and “melty.” It’s a wonderful contrast that never fails to delight. Plus, roasting and grilling develop the flavors and bring out unique characteristics of each variety. They are highly versatile cooking methods, which work with every ingredient, cuisine and mood you can think of.

So if you aren’t already familiar with roasting and grilling, give it a whirl. It will add a whole new dimension to the way you enjoy Creamer Potatoes. All the prep work is already done, since every product from The Little Potato Company comes already washed and ready to cook.

Here’s what you do:

1. Preheat your oven or grill to 400 F (200 C).
2. Toss Creamer potatoes with your favorite cooking oil and seasonings.
3. To roast: Place potatoes on a baking sheet and cook for 30 minutes or until tender.
To grill: Wrap potatoes in aluminum foil or place in a foil tray. Cook for 40 minutes or until tender.
