This week is the launch of our third Little Chef competition, this year, the Family Edition. Here at the Little Potato Company, we are really excited to share this with you and see what Canadian families will dish up!

Yesterday we were on CTV Edmonton, with Owen Kennedy, Little Chef 2016 Runner-Up, to talk about his Little Chef experience and do a cooking demonstration. He made our Grab and Go Breakfast Potato Casserole, and impressively navigated the kitchen while everyone tuned in.

Owen’s Mom helped set up and it was great to see Owen having fun prepping with her because that’s what this year’s Little Chef is all about, Family.

Like Owen and his family, we want you to have the whole family involved and inspired to cook together with our Creamer potatoes too.

Little Chef: Family Edition is open now for entry, until Sunday, October 22. I encourage you to enter the competition.

Teaming up with the Marilyn Denis Show and Bell Media, for this third year is also exciting. Which means, the final two families will appear on The Marilyn Denis Show (airing in December) for a cook-off—and be mentored by MasterChef Canada’s Michael Bonacini—to win the competition Grand Prize:
