Vegetarian meals with meat-eater options!

Cooking from Ontario, Canada, Kacey and her husband have one daughter (named after a Lord of the Rings character) and many pets: an adopted 22-year-old Goffin Cockatoo named Cuddles, a Golden Retriever named Rex, and a pair of guinea pigs named Maestro and Fuzzy Peaches (affectionately also known as Scruffy and Fry from Futurama!). As you can tell, they’re big fans of food, video games, books, and more.

She describes herself as just a girl who has always been fascinated with cooking but jokingly figures she would not survive in a “real” kitchen!

Kacey is a vegetarian, living with two meat-eaters and her goal is to show you how easy it is to make two completely different meals to accommodate different dietary restrictions. Through simple recipe adjustments, you’re rewarded with meals that take little effort.

Her family loves Creamer potatoes too.

Kacey chooses roasting, any day! One of her favorite recipe inspirations is create a spin on a classic, like her Grilled Potato Poutine or her French Onion Soup with Potatoes. Her festive favorite is her Holiday Cheese Ball with Roasted Potatoes!

Her Inspiration

Her family is a big help and constantly giving her ideas. She loves taking favorite family meals (whether family-based or restaurant dishes,) and creating her own interpretation. She’s all about a balance of healthy with a bit of guilty-pleasures (cookies, anyone?!)
