CTV’s The Marilyn Denis Show and The Little Potato Company Announce the two Finalists for Little Chef: Family Edition Competition

The Marilyn Denis Show features the final two families in a cook-off airing Dec. 20 on CTV, to determine the champion family and winners of a trip to Tuscany, Italy

TORONTO (December 11, 2017) – CTV’s THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW and THE LITTLE POTATO COMPANY announced today the two finalists of The Little Chef: Family Edition competition: the Sparling family from Edmonton, Alta. and the Bell family from Comox, B.C.

In addition to the program’s annual “10 Days of Giveaways” series airing this month, CTV’s THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW also heads into the holidays with The Little Chef: Family Edition culinary showdown. The Sparling and Bell families go head-to-head in a cook-off airing Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 10 a.m. ET on CTV and CTV GO. The top family will win the grand prize of a culinary trip to Tuscany, Italy. Valued at $15,000 and courtesy of The Little Potato Company, the trip includes airfare, accommodation, and an exciting culinary experience.

The Sparling and Bell families were chosen following three weeks of voting at Marilyn.ca. Thousands of votes were cast and along with cooking skill, presentation, and personality, the two families were selected from the previously announced 10 semi-finalists. The Sparling family cooked shepherd’s pie, while the Bell family made breakfast potatoes and curry.

The contest is being promoted and featured at major retailers across Canada and supported at store level with “Little Chef Program” support material and promotional programs.
