Partnership gives Canadians the chance to have their original recipe cooked by MASTERCHEF CANADA’s Michael Bonacini on THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW
TORONTO (September 24, 2018) – Calling all little-potato-loving home cooks! CTV and The Little Potato Company announced today they have teamed up for the fourth year running – this year in partnership with MASTERCHEF CANADA and featuring a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize. Beginning today through Sunday, November 11, 2018 the MASTERCHEF CANADA and The Little Potato Company Competition invites viewers to show off their culinary creativity by entering their original, signature dish using small potatoes. Celebrity chef and MASTERCHEF CANADA judge Michael Bonacini officially kicks-off the contest today at 11 a.m. ET on THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW.
In addition, as part of this multi-layered partnership, Bonacini will create five exclusive recipes and offer “chef tips” to provide inspiration in the kitchen at LittlePotatoes.com/MasterChefCanada.
“We are excited to build on the success of our last three years with The Little Potato Company, this time in partnership with MASTERCHEF CANADA,” said Laird White, Director, Brand Partnerships, Bell Media. “Along with celebrity chef Michael Bonacini and continued exposure on MARILYN, this competition offers a unique opportunity for our partners and viewers alike, inviting talented Canadian home cooks to bring on the heat with some drool-inducing recipes for a chance to win a terrific prize!”
“As Canadians continue to get busier and lives become more hectic, it’s important to find time to cook at home as an important skill. With our “not-so-secret-ingredient” we make it quick and easy to enjoy delicious healthy food, and they’re fun too.” said CEO and Co-Founder of The Little Potato Company, Angela Santiago. “Michael Bonacini and MASTERCHEF CANADA are also a perfect choice to carry on this challenge and we can’t wait to see what this year’s keen competition will bring to the table.”
Canadians are now invited to submit their original recipe at www.CTV.ca/LittlePotato. Following this entry period, a panel of judges will select five recipes to move on to the final Top 5 round and receive a coveted prize pack from The Little Potato Company. From there, Bonacini himself will prepare the $10,000-winning recipe for a live audience on THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW, just in time for holiday meal planning this December.
